Career Background:

With more than 20 years of experience dedicated exclusively to ophthalmology, Keeley brings a rare combination of clinical, operational, and executive leadership to every program she oversees. Prior to co-founding True North Contract Research, she served as Director of Research at Vance Thompson Vision, where she led strategic research initiatives, cultivated sponsor relationships, and oversaw the successful execution of a robust portfolio of clinical trials.

Keeley’s career began as an Optician, providing her with a strong foundation in optics and firsthand experience caring for patients. She later became a Certified Clinical Research Coordinator, spending more than a decade managing and overseeing complex ophthalmic clinical trials while contributing to numerous peer-reviewed publications and advancing innovative technologies and therapies in eye care.

As Chief Executive Officer of True North, Keeley has been instrumental in building an ophthalmology-focused CRO recognized for its quality, agility, and client-first approach. She leverages extensive experience directing more than 100 clinical trials across a wide range of ophthalmic indications, providing strategic oversight from study design through execution while ensuring the highest standards of scientific integrity, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence. Her deep understanding of both clinical practice and research operations allows her to bridge the needs of sponsors, investigators, and patients, delivering programs that advance innovation while maintaining an unwavering focus on quality.
